Research Interests:
I am an environmental economist. My research focuses on so-called nonmarket valuation. This is the effort of placing money values on environmental amenities and quality, whose values are not reflected, fully (or whatsoever) in the market place. I am also interested in studying pro-environmental consumer and producer behavior, using ideas of non-pecuniary incentives and motivations from behavioral economics. My research is typically applied in nature. I like to employ neat econometric and statistical methods in analysis of survey data to test models and their implied hypotheses. My ultimate research goal is to have real-world policy relevance.

Courses:

AREC/ECON 335 Introduction to Econometrics
