Barb is the assistant to the department head, and assistant for the graduate program and to the graduate coordinator. She is usually the first contact for new or transferring graduate students, creates and maintains all human resource records for the department as well as the hiring documents of all new faculty, staff, and students, and does budget analysis of department accounts for the head. Barb also works closely with faculty in the department on both human resource and budget issues, is responsible for most of the purchasing, and works closely with the Ag. Business Office in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
